Mission Statement

  • Build a state-of-the art facility for abused, neglected, unwanted and slaughter-bound horses, ponies and other equines where rescue and education efforts consider the dignity of the animal first and foremost.
  • Provide natural, safe and comfortable living quarters for residents immersed in physical, mental and emotional rehabilitation.
  • Place rehabilitated horses in qualifying forever homes.
  • Provide in-house lessons in natural horsemanship, reducing the likelihood of an equine becoming at risk of neglect or other mismanagement.
  • Increase public awareness of neglect and abuse through outreach education for owners, schools, service organizations and other interested groups.
